Terms of Use

Effective November 7, 2026

These terms apply when you use newjerseywaterproofingpros.com or send an estimate request. NJ Waterproofing Pros is a referral service and does not perform the work.

What the service is

NJ Waterproofing Pros is a referral service and does not perform the work. NJ Waterproofing Pros is an estimate-request service operated by cantandoDigital. We pass your request to one independent contractor who serves your area; contractors pay us a fee to receive requests. We are not a waterproofing contractor and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor.

No guarantee of pricing, availability, quality or timelines

  • Every estimate and price comes from the contractor, not from us, and we don't guarantee contractor pricing.
  • We don't guarantee that a contractor will be available for your project or your dates, or how fast they respond.
  • We don't guarantee the quality of any contractor's work or how long a job will take.
  • If no participating contractor serves your ZIP code, we can't match your request.
  • You never have to hire the contractor.

Check the contractor before you hire

We confirm that participating contractors are local, registered and insured before they receive requests, but please check for yourself before you sign anything:

  • Ask for their New Jersey home improvement contractor registration number. New Jersey's Contractors' Registration Act requires home improvement contractors to register with the state, and the Division of Consumer Affairs can confirm a registration.
  • Ask for a certificate of liability insurance. New Jersey requires registered home improvement contractors to carry liability insurance.
  • Get the scope, materials, warranty, price, start and finish dates and payment schedule in a written contract, and keep a signed copy. New Jersey requires home improvement contracts of $500 or more to be in writing, to show the contractor's registration number and to tell you that you may cancel within three business days.
  • Confirm who applies for any municipal zoning, construction or plumbing permit, and that 811 is called at least three business days before any digging.
  • Radon testing and mitigation in New Jersey must be done by a business certified by the Department of Environmental Protection, unless you do it on your own home. Ask for the certification before agreeing to radon work.

Your responsibilities

  • Be at least 18 and give accurate contact details and the real ZIP code of the property.
  • Don't send requests for someone else without their permission, and don't send fake or automated requests.
  • Don't copy, scrape or misuse the site.

Disclaimers and limits

Permit notes, radon and flood information and other information on this site are general guidance, provided as is, and may not match your property or your municipality. To the fullest extent the law allows, cantandoDigital is not liable for any contractor's work, pricing, delays or conduct, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits rights you have under New Jersey consumer protection law.
